Ps Rod was born and raised in Perth, Australia. He came to know and follow Jesus in 1979, following a challenging circumstance with his health. Rod attended Bible College in Perth, where he met his beautiful wife Cheryl. They moved to the Cold Coast in 1987. The church was planted in June 1989 in fulfilment of a vision to build a church on the Gold Coast that was relevant to the needs of today's society.
