DC Outreach covers a wide diversity of activities, each designed to have a positive impact on people living in our local community, our city, our nation and the world. Our aim is to be a blessing to people in whatever way we can, through as many means as possible.


Local Outreach.

Effect Ministry
Effect provides food to people in need on Friday mornings and Saturday nights every week at Burleigh Heads. We also assist people in the community with:

Food Donations
Providing urgent food and toiletry items to people in need is an awesome way to be a blessing to others. We can all help this cause by bringing in non-perishable food and toiletry items and placing them in the Food Donation bin located in the foyer.


Frozen Meals
Our frozen meal supply assists many families when needs arise. You can assist by cooking extra meals at home that can be frozen in the special foil containers available at the Information Desk at the Dream Centre.


Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is an incredible opportunity to impact our community through schools, sporting teams and community groups.

Bus Ministry
The Dream Centre bus runs along the Gold Coast Highway from Palm Beach to Broadbeach, then travels west on the Nerang-Broadbeach Road to the church. It is available to pickup and drop-off for the 9:00am service every Sunday.

Religious Education in Schools
We have an awesome open door opportunity to preach the gospel in Primary and High Schools in Australia. If you are able to commit to a 30 minute class, once a week, and see the rewards of teaching kids, then contact Mel Lilley on 0421 347 887.


Georgie Ballinger and Brooke Campbell
Georgie and Brooke are currently on a mission trip throughout Australia. Their endeavour is to work within various outback communities and assist with community development and other projects. They are also taking the DC Kids program and other resources from the Dream Centre to churches and people in these areas.


Overseas Outreach

Baan Fah Sigh-y Children’s Home
Located in Northern Thailand, Baan Fah Sigh-y is currently home to 25 children ranging in age from newborn to 5 years. Founded by Phil and Wanida Hohnen, it is a haven of love for children who have come from desperate situations, but have now been given hope for a positive future. Financial support is tax deductible for donations over $2.


Andrew and Deanne Knife
Dream Centre missionaries, Andrew and Deanne Knife and family, have been living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for over a year now.

They have partnered to build the Grace Children’s Centre in Bahir Dar, a town approximately 500km from Addis Ababa, where the level of desperate need is almost overwhelming. The program will consist of a sponsorship program, day care centre and orphanage and is an integrated, holistic approach to meeting the needs of children.

Scott and Dina McMaster
As missionary evangelists, Scott, Dina and family have been travelling throughout the United States, ministering to people in a variety of situations. With powerful testimonies of God’s goodness, they have seen many set free and healed.


Greg and Vicki Volich
Greg and Vicki have been in the United States for the past couple of years developing a project called The God Experience ®, a kingdom-focused, commerce-based missions program that will provide income to fund missions throughout the world.
