Rod and Cheryl Gilchrist

The church was planted in June 1989 in fulfilment of a vision to build a church on the Gold Coast that was relevant to the needs of today's society.

Rod came to know and follow Jesus in 1979, following a difficult time in his life. He attended Bible College in Perth, where he met Cheryl, then moved to the Gold Coast in 1987. Rod is a gifted communicator with an ability to impart the truth of God's Word in a way that is real and practical.

Rod and Cheryl have four children.

Sandy and Glenyss Ritchie

Sandy has been a part of the Dream Centre for 18 years and on full-time staff for 14 years where he has fulfilled every role imaginable in church life.

Married to Glenyss for 25 years with 4 boys, Sandy has a Diploma in Christian Ministry, obtained through Gold Coast Word of Faith Bible College.

Currently, Sandy is the senior associate pastor and oversees all departments. Sandy has the role of pastoral care oversight and assists in all the church’s activities.
